I am looking for a new watch. After seeing Uniform Wares on gq a few weeks ago, I have been quite interested. What are your opinions on these? ...or should I just stick with a Hamilton like this or this? Feel free to recommend anything that might be better.

the uniform all the way. the hamiltons look boring to me and won't make you stick out.

That is the way I am leaning. I like how simple it is, while being unique at the same time. Simplicity is kind of were I am headed these days.

If you really have to choose, esquire. They have a bit less of a style-focus, but most of the stuff from GQ is recycled throughout the years and you can get it online anyway. Esquire also seems to have more interesting articles

Can anyone attest to the quality (cut, fabric, construction) of Saturdays Surf NYC clothing? I have no way of seeing it in person. Thanks

I've been looking everywhere for this jacket and have had no luck at all. Anyone know where I could find it or something similar? It's a reversible by Gant. http://cdn1.gilt.com/images/share/up...?52_1294877408 Edit: Sorry the picture is so small, literally the only picture I can find of it right now
I have this exact jacket and it's awesome, as are harrington jackets in general
Check Saks, where I got mine for what Gilt sells it for, and the depths of the interwebs. Bonobos has a similar one that isn't reversible, also made by gant.
Banana also makes a black and a beige, but they are not reversible, nor lined in awesome

Budget for chinos? Below $100, Club Monaco on sale. At $100, some WvG chinos are on sale at Blue Owl's site. At $130 or so, check out ePaulet

Personally haven't had any experience with them, so I'm not sure

While you're at it, won't hurt to check out Unis and Bonobos too

I thought Gitman released some nice madras shirts this season, as did epaulet. Don't know how much you're willing to drop though.

Lucky bastard, the inside lining is where all the awesome is at. But I'll check Saks, Thanks!
