need some help on washing jeans.. something strange is going on.

this is not the first time im washing my raw jeans but this time, for some reason, a weird smell would develop after it dries. i've washed it three times now.. soaking it once in a tub of soapy water, and washing it twice using the washing machine.

STILL the funk wouldn't disappear. strange thing is that it only becomes smelly during the drying process.. any help?

nope.. i hung it out to dry. can't be the air?

    What jeans are they?

I can't wait for summer for reasons totally other than clothing, but I feel like dressing well in the summer is going to be harder than in f/w. The layering options of f/w seem to make fits so much more interesting. Maybe this is just because I haven't been around sf for s/s so I don't have a lot of s/s fits to draw inspiration from.

you can still layer, look into lightweight jersey. you can even buy some layered tees and shorts if you look around.

Check Hlorenzo and ArchiveSF. I belive they have what you are looking for.

Thanks. Archive sent me the pics of their upcoming Julius buy; some good stuff, including a denim jacket that I'd have to see in person. I'm a little scared to ask about the prices though.

Looking for some generic black sneakers for everyday wear.

Currently deciding between PF Flyers Albin
    http://www.zappos.com/pf-flyers-albin-black

    and these Lacoste ones
    http://www.zappos.com/lacoste-nuvera-hi-3-dark-blue
Are PF's better than Lacoste as far as quality/durability goes?
    Which ones to go with?

Of those two I'm actually liking the Lacoste's more, just because I'm not a fan of the patent cap toe on the PF flyers. I've seen better PF flyers out there.

have you looked at Clae Diego in black?

Normal size is usually 10 or 10.5. I have a narrow foot if that helps.

Yeah, he does seem nice. It's the prices I'm afraid of [IMG], especially since I just looked up the collection on some Japanese sites. I'll probably end up proxying the things I'm sure of and checking out the rest at Archive.

yah, I can't stomach the prices of atelier as well. However, it is neat being able to see the items up close. I might go by february to see SS 2011 up close.
