There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Been wearing my NF Broken Twill SlimGuys for a solid 6 months now. I wanna go the entire year without a wash.

The crotch is blowing out a tad bit, should I give them a hot soak? WIll the starch completely wear off?

Do you guys know where I could purchase, online or in store, this shoe: Sperry Gold Top Oxford in 11? Or perhaps recommend an alternative similar style? Appreciate.

Sorry. Usually i just post recommendation, but please reconsider those boatshoes. If you still want you could alternatively try Sebago.

Hi, i've been sent a belt but there are some measurement problems : on the bill, the size is 32"(W), on the ticket 36", and 40 on the reverse side of the belt whereas i ordered a 32"(Waist), in short this is too big... Anyway, i wondered if someone could give me some measurements of 30&32 sizes in CM (preferably) to compare with the belt i received, in order to send back the item and get a new one (good size this time).

(and most of all, the reverse side number of the belt match with the belt size ? ) Sorry about such a noob question [IMG]

How do Quoddys fit compared to Sperry Top Siders? Should I get the same size or size down half for a pair of unlined Quoddy camp mocs? In my experience Sperrys are rather short/snug in the toe (I need a Sperry US8.5 to be comfortable though I can wear a US8). Thanks.

Can anybody recommend a cheaper alternative to the quoddy deck chukka? Something with few eyelets without the boat shoe detailing on the sides.

    Need a Black/Navy semi-casual trouser/pant that fits slim. Preferably under ~$130

Is there something between Navy chinos and Ervell trousers? Or am I better of just getting good quality chinos?

    Thanks in advance

You can get oxford cloth shirts that don't button down, but obviously they're no longer OCBD's... Pretty much any English shirtmaker sells them.

oh no. it's probably way too dirty for anyone to work on. however your mother might be willing to do it. just wash the jeans man.

How to store jeans, and perhaps sweaters. The last couple of days i have been shopping, i have seen that many places store their jeans by using those coat hangers with clippers: Like this here; borrowed the picture (member furey posted this) [IMG] Is this to save room? Or would it actually preserve the jeans better ? I would guess that it would prevent unnessarry folding marks. Also, if anyone has used their time to search; have anyone found any coat-hangers that doesnt give your sweaters those "shoulder nipples"? And good quality ones (wood if possible) with "clippers; like the posted picture above) Thanks!

Depends on where you go. Denim Doctors, Self Edge, or Blue Owl (I think they all do repairs, but you should contact them) probably will. I'd probably soak them anyway, if I were you. The residual starch along with any dirt, salt, oil, &c. that have built up with wear are leading to extra wear at the crotch, which is part of the reason you're getting the blowout.

If you're really concerned with high-contrast, starch-induced fades, just spray starch (after getting them back from being repaired) at the relevant points (lap whiskers, honeycombs, stacks) like IIIrd Icon does.
