What pair of shoes should I buy to go with a pair of jeans to make them a little more dressy. I don't want to wear black dress shoes. I was thinking of buying a pair of Sketchers leather athletic sneakers, but a search of the forums shows that these might not look as good as I thought.

What should I buy instead? I want it to be step up from my white nike tennis shoes I've been wearing when im not in flip flops.....

Ideas? Must be less then $70.

    Anyone?

No to above. At $70 price range you're looking at Clarks DB as your best bet.

I don't feel like digging through the last 300 pages of WAYWT, but did GraphicNovelty ever finish his Sgt. Peppers-style SW&D collage?

When looking to buy good dress shoes, what should I be checking for with the shoes? Quality of leather by seeing if they crease?

should i spend £20 on a thin knit zara top or £280 on an MMM one which look almost identical apart from leather elbow patches on the MMM. The MMM is obviously a lot nicer but its 14 times the price and will require much more careful treatment. Is the price difference generally worth it?

I am pretty sure that the MMM wont last 14 times as long as the Zara, so the question is - it might be a bit better looking, but is it worth THAT much? I would not buy the MMM, rather spend it elsewhere.

I would like to do a search in the B&S section, but it is only 3 letters (APC)- and for some reason it states that there are no matching which is of course not true.

Is there any way to work around this?
