I'm going to the tailor for the first time to take a button down shirt which I want to be slimmed down from the waist and also make the sleeves thinner.

Is there anything I should ask/make sure?

Make sure you are clear about what you want, I find some tailors can be pushy and set in their ways.

Should be ordinary unless you're trying to take in some inordinate amount (+3") in which case it may be wise to ask for back darts/pleats if there are pockets
Ah, thanks. I think that's like my fifth question you've answered in this thread by now. [IMG]
I can be an ass to special flowers, but I do try to help those that come to the right place for it
Does Moncler use goose or polyester down?
    Goose, I believe

Marc Jacobs has one lined in nutria fur, probably priced at the same range as Moncler Gamme Bleu too

I assume you mean collarless shirts. H&M has these in droves ...

I saw them at H&M in London, but not here in the states, or in canada...

    any other ideas ?

Does anyone have any suggestions for a nice pair of leather gloves? Most that I come across are cheaply made and/or ugly as hell.

A more convenient approach, perhaps, is to buy a regular shirt and ask your tailor to remove the collar.

How many different fits there for BoO (casual) shirts? I though it's all the same cut and yet every seller claims different measurement for medium size.

Are there any other stores besides Roden Gray that carry Gitman in Vancouver? I tried to check the Gitman website but it won't work for me.

I took a quick look and am coming up short. I thought Four Horses might have them, but I guess not.

I've got a few of the flannels from this winter that I can photograph and do fit pics if you wish. Not sure what your intents are though..

I went today and basically the guy is just going to put darts in the back. He didnt recommend me to do anything else.

Thanks for the answer. I wanna try them on to see how they fit me but Roden Gray isn't open yet so I can't go there.
