Is this jacket really worth the price?

If not, are there similar pieces that are better constructed for around the same price point?

No, but the tweed SC I have for sale in B&S is worth the price. [IMG]

Seriously though, lapels that thin on something made out of tweed (a fairly thick and 'full' fabric) doesn't like right at all. If you want a tweed SC I'd suggest ebay/B&S/thrift stores to find a more classically styled one.

I'd go the eBay/B&S route but I'm a bit leery of dropping money on something I can't try on first - I'll try my local secondhand store to see what he has.

    Thanks for the advice, though!

Where can I buy cosby sweaters? You know the kind I mean, with sort of dumb designs that are there for no particular reason. I have only ever owned one cosby sweater and I lost it recently, looking to get some more. EDIT: Found one, though its a bit more than I want to pay for a sweater. More like this, but less expensive.. Maybe a company that specializes in cosby sweaters? http://www.jcrew.com/mens_category/s...9542/29542.jsp

The nice thing about B&S is, if it doesn't fit you can usually re-post it to sell it again.

Also, get a tailor to measure you and then ask for measurements from sellers for items, I find that helps (as long as the seller knows what they're doing).

Really wasn't sure where to post this, but whatever. Can I get some opinions on the fit of this Junya Parka I just got? It's a little tight around the arms/biceps but I can live with it as long as it doesn't look too off...any comments are appreciated thanks [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

Anyone know how the LL Bean Blucher mocs fit in comparisson to Quoddy's, or in comparison to Sperry's for that matter?

    I'm a 10 in Quoddy's and an 11 in Sperry, pretty much a 10.5 in everything else.

    Looking at these: http://www.llbean.com/llbeansignatur...tn&cat4=505905

I have a pair of Levis STF I've been wearing for about a month or two, and now they're starting to smell a little bit. Normally I wouldn't care, but as a student who is around other people often, I don't like the idea of being a well-dressed but stinky guy.

What would be the best way to go about washing these? Cold water in the tub with some soap (what kind?) and hang dry? Or what?
