lol, thanks Tee. Thats exactly what I ended up doing.

I decided to go with 23", so it'll sit 1'' or 2 below my clavicle.

Hopefully more like 2", as ( too ) short necklaces really don't work on rather masculine guys like you, IMO. What type of necklace did you get ?

Which desert boots match best with these jeans (and will end up being the most versatile too, noted that winter is upcoming)

Desert boots are not made for Calgary winters. This is one of those products where the name actually means something.

But for dark denim, I would choose a darker suede.

Any suggestions on a decent work boot <$250 with a lug sole that handles well in moderate snow?

Think so? I've still got another 3 months before it starts to snow :|

Think I should just opt for the leather beeswax?

I have beeswax, and they're great. But I just wear them with mostly light-colored khakis in later spring, summer and early fall.

Don't know how could they would look with dark denim. Beeswax gets considerably lighter as you wear them (they scuff considerably). I don't like a whole lot of contrast between my shoes and my pants when the shoes are a lighter color, but that's just me.

might just be me but you can't go wrong with grey DB's. I found a pair for 40$ and I end up wearing them with everything. except grey.

I found an interesting Tournament by Arrow (brand) polo/sports shirt while thrifting the other day. 4 buttons, slim fitting, chest pocket. It's 60 % polyester, which is a drag. My guess is it's from the 70's-80's and actually meant for tennis.

Does any one know anything about this particular brand or something similar? I like the look, it's notably different from the typical polo. Unfortunately, I dont have a decent camera.

You can't go wrong with Red Wings or Wolverine boots.
