I just read that you should size down 1 on CPs. Just want to make sure before I pick up a pair. I'm a size 9 so I should go for a 41, correct?

    Thanks.

^ 41 is roughly a US 8.5 to 9, while 42 is around 9.5 to 10. You should be okay with 41 unless you have wide feet or something, in which case it might not be bad idea to size up.

Are there any European alternatives for an affordable but good quality belt like those made by Tanner Goods?

I was going to buy one of their dark brown leather belts, but paying $28 for shipping on a $72 belt seems like a waste, particularly with VAT/Import Duty added on to that.

Contact member 'Unlucky' here. He does custom leather goods to order at that price point (he quoted me $50 for a Tanner-like horsehide belt).

looking for new denim to wear in, i should be retiring my ns's soon

what do you guys think would fit well im 6'2 230lbs. 36.5 waist, muscular build. price doesnt matter either.

Hey, try this question in the 'I have a jean' pinned thread. Giving us some idea of what you've owned and liked, or seen and liked, as well as direction like if you would spend $300, if you want raw selvage, etc. will get you a quicker answer.

Also check out www.selfedge.com and www.blueingreensoho.com and look at the two sites where many of us go for really good denim...Get an idea of what's out there...

    Sort of clothing related,

Where do people tend to sell their unwanted clothing? I've noticed many posters here allude to being pretty successful at selling their unwanted stuff.

I've tried kijiji with some limited luck (although I've recently gotten some interest...right after I got deployed [IMG] ) and I don't think I'm nearly established enough to try and sell here.

Any suggestions for alternative selling avenues I may be missing?

    Cross-posting from the jean thread:

I bought a pair of Julian Red Hoboken Dark Dancers off the official JR store. They came about 2 weeks ago and I've worn them a handful of times. I washed them a few days ago on a low cycle and just noticed there's a rip in the ass. The jeans weren't tight on me, so that didn't cause it, and I didn't sit on anything sharp or be a moron in any way.

Anyone have experience with the JR store? Can I expect a replacement or is this just some really bad luck? Shitty experience so far, I've heard such good things about JR.

What does this mean? Visvim is a company, they make a lot of different things and they're all very expensive

Hey guys looking to try and order a Fred Perry x Raf Simons polo, just curious about sizing, I've never tried on Fred Perry before, but as reference I wear Small in J. Lindeberg Tailored Fit, 3 in Lacoste Slim Fits, Small in Polo Custom Fits (although i still find a little boxy), and Small in RRL polos, Thanks.

I'm just a little torn if i should get small or x-small

Will raw denim stain black nubuck?

And if so, will a simple brushing remedy the problem?

And the leather in question isn't jet black, more like a very dark charcoal.
