^^ I ended up using Pita to special order one with all black zippers. I figured if I was going dropping that kind of cash, I might as well get exactly what I want. The whole process took about 3.5 months or so.

There's also a current season limited leather at the Roppongi KKA store right now -- real nice, tried it on last weekend.

Same here - Lift gets all their L-0 with black zips, ended up paying the Lift premium for a black zip model

Wouldn't PN\P be faster since they are so close to Alessio's workshop...

proximity to workshop has no bearing on production time.

Well it is slightly subjective for example japanese retailers have easier access to stock lists of devoa than say USA retailers. But in this case, Matteo/Marco mentioned that they are in contact with Alessio;s workshop so i figured they'd be faster but who knows.

There are laws in Japan that make it much easier and cheaper for japanese stores to buy from japanese companies. That's why if you see japanese stuff (Devoa or KKA for example) the prices are like 40-50% higher. It's a way for japanese people to watch out for each other and make sure they are staying in business.

Italy has no such laws or taxes.

Everyone who's ever done business with Layer-0 will be in contact with him... have you heard of email?
