Is Sartorialoft LA just closed forever? Whatever happened to Vitamori?

    SLA is closed.

vitamori was an offshoot of downtown sf and was probably not doing well.

    Hey guys,

I'm in unknown territory here - I'm in the market for some artisanal pants. I like the look of some of the Devoa, Zam B stuff but i'm not sure what would work for me. I have wide hips, skinny legs and i'm pretty short (5ft 8). I think I'd need something on the slim going towards skinny end of the scale.

Any tips on what might work for me?

It'd be easier if you could post some pics of what you like. Do you like a bit of stacking orr do you prefer a smaller inseam with minimal break? What sort of fabric; rugged, textured, smooth, dry, stiff, drapey?

alright thanks, i'll dig out some pics a bit later on. I'd like some stacking - the Zam B DNA pants look nice, but appear to be quite roomy in the thigh area.

P.S. Sartorialoft isn't closed ... AFAIK they're just moving locations [veryyyyy slowwwwly]. & they still respond to product inquiries etc (stuff's currently in a warehouse)

The url has changed as well, ref: http://www.sartorialoft.com

Could I have some second opinions on the condition of these guidi's? Looking to buy used.

    - Could use some help identifying the leather on this one too. listing says calf, but the grain makes me think it's something else. Also, am I crazy or is there something weird going on with the sole (see pic 3, 4)?

    - Heel drag looks kinda bad. Nothing topy can't fix though, right?

Thanks a bunch in advance guys!

@twdawson you sure those will fit a 46? At 37cm across the waist, that sounds like a 44 would even struggle.

@fistinyoface i asked that very same question to the seller (thru FJ); he just responded that it's approximate, amateur measurement etc.

fwiw i measured my own sz 6 ramie pair from last spring and it's ~39/40cm when laid straight flat. so combined with a mid-rise... you should be ok

worth a risk anyway at that price.
