its unbelievable how in the past 2 weeks people here have been selling things in my size that are all very appealing to me... (the MA+ boots, L0 jacket, PH blazer ,etc)
I am so proud of myself for resisting the temptation...

maybe i just confirmed that I dont belong to this baller club..

That's sure a GBS shirt. And while it may look like a "mall shirt" if you've ever worn one or inspected one closely it certainly isn't anywhere close to that in actuality

True. Those who have handled his pieces(including those from early 2000) will know what goes into making each one. I got a shirt listed here for sale which looks just like any ordinary crisp, white shirt one can get hold from a decent brand. It is only when you handle his clothing in person will you notice the difference.

Dropped by gullam today for the first time in months. Araki Yuu stuff is really beautiful in person, and was pleasantly surprised by first aid for the injured too. Some really cool pieces at very reasonable price points. Also always impressed by how friendly and awesome the staff is. They recognize me even though I probably only drop in like once every six months (though probably only because I'm the only guy who wanders into the shop in a white tee and ratty nikes...).

By any chance are you still in Japan? Have you been to Cathedral? I tried to use bank transfer for an Opus Japan coat but unfortunately something went wrong so I had to cancel the order.

Did you try on the AY Soutain collar coat (C02 special) in Black?

Do INK offer international shipping? And do they accept debit cards? Araki Yuu is my new most favorite designer

Yes- they ship internationally with EMS. IIRC it's paypal only for international purchases. Although a wire transfer maybe possible.

@Mojo1990 Unfortunately didn't have time to try anything on, but I think that's already sold out anyway...

I remember seeing the Araki Yuu lookbook and loving it, but I've never actually bothered to look it up until now. Really liking what I'm seeing, and pricing isn't as brutal as I thought it would be, which is always nice haha

Well, sadly, the Taichi Murakami pants are just way to tight for me, so I have to send them back. Before I do, though, I thought I'd post a few little pics of some of the cooler aspects of them. The material is incredible, and the construction seems extremely solid.
Enjoy

^check the cool metal buttons on the fly.

^this is some amazing stitching all around the waistband. Anyone have a name for it; is it a known process? I have no idea, but it sure does look bad-ass.

^the texture of the wool/ramie blend is soooo sweet.

We should start a thread: "Favorite Designer Whose Clothes I Can't Wear." Wait. It probably exists already, right? Nuthin' new under the sun.

out of curiosity, what was the tagged size on the taichi's and how did they really measure/fit? i tried on the linen/denim jeans and they were too tight for me; curious if he updated the pants pattern at all.
