I'm interested in a pair of Arrow Moccasins and I was wondering if anyone around here might have some experience with these or know anything about them. I'm thinking about going with the Two-Eye Moc. Check it out here:

They only have a one bad pic on the website though so it's hard to get a feel for them. Anyone have these or know where I could get a better picture of them? Anyone know how durable and comfortable the double wrap sole would be on these?

I was considering these... but then I realized they have leather bottoms, so that wouldn't really work for concrete. Apparently you can have them put on a crepe sole but you'd have to ask..

i'm wearing my ring boots right now. i wear them a few times a week to work and always around my place; the double leather sole is holding up just fine. it took me two years to wear out a pair of minnetonka's with much thinner leather. i imagine these will last three to four years before needing a resole.

quality is top notch and turn around time for me was just a couple weeks.

Where is the pic from? If the crepe is thick like that, I'd love a pair.

I may be copying you very shortyly. Just gotta decide if I want the 3 eye or 2 eye. The 2 eye seems a little more versatile imo.

    Its from that link above.

    These look pretty slick too

Where'd you find these? Do they make them in brown leather?

I ordered a pair of two-eyelet mocs today with crepe soles. Same price as double leather. Aside from the wait, the only hesitation is that crepe cannot be resoled. I asked if they could do any other soles, hoping for a camp sole, and the response was, "no, that would make it a shoe, and we're not interested in those." I can't wait![IMG]

I really like the two-eye mocassins. I don't see options on the website for the crepe sole that comes up in front and I'm looking for pictures of the double wrapped sole. Would the leather wrap not hold up if I was wearing them around on concrete and whatnot?

Can anyone give me advice about the leather wrap sole and how it holds up as a regular everyday shoe? Also, anyone know where I can find pictures of the two eye moc with the leather wrap?

Rakuten doesn't really have any pictures of the leather wrap mocs. The arrow website doesn't really either. Anyone have experience with them who could tell me how the leather sole would hold up? Pictures maybe?

^^ Leather-soled mocs are the stock pictures on the Arrow website. Sounded like you had to call in for the crepe sole. People here always think crepe soles are the only option and that leather will wear out instantly. Quoddy says that leather soles last longer. Maybe only in the woods.

I don't know who is right.

    Chicken scratch?
