So here's the deal.

First thread, BTW. Hope to have more soon, but as for now, here we go.

I bought an Armani Collezioni suit on clearance at Bloomies HOPING that one day I'd fit into it, but alas, it hasn't happened yet.

I am looking to sell it, but don't know where to sell it other than here or eBay. Can't sell here, cause I'm new and there's the whole 45 day rule.

Anyone have any suggestions on where else to sell?

If eBay, anyone had any luck on there with suits? I'd like to at LEAST get my money back but the completed auctions aren't for squat $$$

TIA, and hope this is not in violation of any rules.

What is the size, color, etc.? Also, price, pics, and measurements would be helpful. If the rules at SF prevent from you selling here, you could always provide specs and a link to your ebay auction.

I havent listed on eBay yet, because I don't want to pay the fees if it's not going to sell. I've heard that they're are a lot of fakes on eBay??????

The jacket size is 44r, the pants are a 38 and I'd like to get the $500 for it.

I'm not a suit expert, but the fabric is a charcoal grey, no pinstriping. It's fitted, 2 button.

I'd hate to violate any rules, so PLEASE let me know if I am.

Thanks for the tip.

I've done that.... several times, but haven't seen anything that's actually sold. That's why I ask. I have a very long eBay record and have sold a TON of jeans on eBay but have never sold suits, and just haven't seen that they sell well.

Set a reserve on Ebay. Give it a month and if there are no takers, you could list the suit here. I'd like to help you out, but am needing a 42R.

List it with Buy it Now (and best offer). With the basic extras, it will only cost .70 to list it. The closing fees are higher so you will have to work it into your price. You can throw something in about 25% cash back from MSFT.

Quality pictures are the most important. I am selling an Armani Collezioni suit too. I noticed that some really outdated disgusting models had lots of bids thanks to nice listings and pictures. Some nice ones (like mine in a 38R) aren't getting action because the listing is not as pretty.
