So I just bought a lovely golden fleece bb suit. I then needed to get it finished. Queue long discussions about suit length.

I'm was we wearing a casual shirt, I did ask for a french.cuff as.I wear normally, but the assistant with 20 years experience said the one I was wearing was fine.

I wanted to show cuff, hard to measure on the wrong shirt, so lengthy debate then occurred.

I'm now worried they'll be short, bit **** with working buttons.

Based on the trend in jacket sleeve length these days, you're probably more likely to end up with longer sleeves than shorter sleeves, but if you're worried about it either way, call the store and cancel the alterations. If you just bought the suit in the last couple days, they almost certainly haven't started working on it yet.
