I don't cuff any of my trousers. Can't bear cuffs.

i always cuff my pants, including chinos. to me it is classier and gives a finished look.

^Let us know how it goes, maybe post pics when they're done? It'd be great to see if there are any good examples of cuffed chinos out there, I personally never cuff mine as it looks a little bit off and oddly sloppy (too long and shapeless, too lazy etc) to my eye. However, after seeing PG's rather dramatic cuffs, my opinion may be on the verge of change.

Same here, i have six pairs of Incotex. I have three basic chino rules to get the preppy look: 1) always cuff them (like Phat Guido's post above); 2) must be slim fitted and 3) must be a heavy material.

I think of them the same way, meaning that neither are cuffed permanently, but I do turn or roll up the bottoms when the mood strikes me.
