I've been in the Gap a few times and bought a couple of things. There are always Asians in there. Then again, in Seattle, there are always Asians everywhere.

When I was in college and got an employee discount I shopped at the GAP. When they fired me three weeks later, I stopped shopping there.

One time I needed a bunch of polo shirts in a hurry for a vacation so I went to the Gap and just bought like 10 polos of different colors. That was the only and last time that I shopped at the Gap, but I don't "shop at the Gap."

Only thing I get from there are cheap wool sweaters, and only on discounts. So, I don't really "shop the Gap"

Not white, shop all the time at the Gap for my 7 year old's clothes as I find their childrens clothes to be of much better quality than their competitors.

I also shop there for myself, mostly for very casual wear like cargo shorts, v-neck tees and these wonderful ankle length athletic socks which "breathe". I feel no shame in shopping there.

They are good for basics. I have their tees, and causal pants, and jeans. They are relatively inexpensive when on sale, and have a great return policy. I oftentimes will wear a RLPL cashmere sweater with a GAP tee underneath. And honestly, they sell the best boxer shorts I have ever bought. Sartorially unimaginative is relative, you have to know how to pair things together well. Jon.

I get their wool scarves on sale for around $2-$4 at the end of winter sale.

Look at it this way, if there is something I need that I can get cheaply at Gap/Express/Old Navy/BR/Guess/et.c. I will do it. Yes, I am a filthy whore but hey, works for me

P.s. I just put myself on white as I am obviously not asian or black and will be too complex to explain someone Eurasian (sort of).
