I'll be there at 3pm on Friday. Saturday, same time, as well if its as enjoyable as I suspect it will be.

Out of curiosity, anyone else under 30 going?

I live and work in the NYC area, but like Brian, it's just not my cup of tea so I will not be attending.

Depending on how my Friday shapes up I might go around lunch.

Saturday is the pre-St. Patty's day festivities in the 'Boken!

How many 30+ will be attending that?

I'll be arriving a few hours later. I hope you'll still be there. I assume I'll be able to recognize you as the guy placing an extensive order with Dean Girling?

Let me know your details C. and I'll try to be around.

Dean Girling, the name is most familiar, does he have something to do with shoes?

I still vote for the kittens. Sorry, Doc. As a consolation, I'll vote that your avatar is cuter than my old "Yoda wildly screwing a clearly happy sheep" avatar.

Seems an odd choice not to pop in and chat up some of these makers, seeing how you've entered the biz.

it's not that I have zero interest, but this trip is more of a "I'm taking my fiancee shopping in NYC since she's never been" type trip, so going to CSE would kinda bum her out.

No. Nobody whose name is not on the guest list will be admitted as we are bound by the suite's occupancy limits. Though some time slots are full, others are not ... yet. You can still get an invitation at www.SartorialExcellence.net.

The dress code is not "no jeans". I'll restate it: "No jeans, flip-flops, and t-shirts."

Unless you're Manton ... in which case we heartily encourage you to come and be photographed in your jeans, flip-flops, and t-shirt.

I'm happy to hear that - thanks for clarifying - I thought it meant no jeans, flip flops or t-shirts. If only that combination is forbidden, then the dress code is actually pretty flexible.
(btw the probability of seeing anyone in that outfit in the NYC winter is quite slim to begin with)

That's what we thought ... until the last CSE - also in March. Hence, the Rule.
