There are an inordinate number of Andrews on this forum. Please stand up and be counted.

If your name is Andrew Andrews, then that counts twice.

/andrew - always knew he was unique

***edit: suddenly realized this is not clothing related - J if you want to move this, by all means; i will not feel slighted...

???: There. Look.

LAUNCELOT: What does it say?

GALAHAD: What language is that?

ARTHUR: Brother Maynard, you're our scholar.

MAYNARD: It's Aramaic.

GALAHAD: Of course. Joseph of Aramathea.

LAUNCELOT: Course.

???: What does it say?

MAYNARD: It reads, 'Here may be found the last words of Joseph of Aramathea.
He who is valiant and pure of spirit may find the Holy Grail in the Castle of uuggggggh'.

ARTHUR: What?

MAYNARD: '... the Castle of uuggggggh'.

BEDEVERE: What is that?

MAYNARD: He must have died while carving it.

LAUNCELOT: Oh, come on.

MAYNARD: Well, that's what it says.

ARTHUR: Look, if he was dying, he wouldn't bother to carve
'aaggggh'. He'd just say it.

MAYNARD: Well, that's what's carved in the rock.

GALAHAD: Perhaps he was dictating.

ARTHUR: Oh, shut up. Well, does it say anything else?

MAYNARD: No. Just, 'uuggggggh'.

LAUNCELOT: Aauuggghhh.

???: Aaauggh.

BEDEVERE: You don't suppose he meant the Camauuuugh?

???: Where's that?

BEDEVERE: France, I think.

LAUNCELOT: Isn't there a Saint Aauuuves in Cornwall?

ARTHUR: No, that's Saint Ives.

LAUNCELOT: Oh, yes. Saint Iiiives.

SEVERAL: Iiiiives.

BEDEVERE: Oooohoohohooo.

LAUNCELOT: No, no, aauuuuugh, at the back of the throat. Aauuugh.

BEDEVERE: No, no, no, oooooooh, in surprise and alarm.

LAUNCELOT: Oh, you mean sort of a aaaagh.

BEDEVERE: Yes, but I-- Aaaaagh.

???: Oooh.

???: Oh, no.

MAYNARD: It's the legendary Black Beast of aaauuugh.

ARTHUR: Run away.

ALL: Run away. Run away.

NARRATOR: As the horrendous Black Beast lunged forward, escape for Arthur and his knights seemed hopeless.
When, suddenly, the animator suffered a fatal heart attack.
The cartoon peril was no more.
The Quest for Holy Grail could continue.

Along the same lines - I've noticed that Andrew is not the only name that is quitecommon on this forum. There are others. But I'm too lazy too think about it right now. Anyone want to comment?

How about if your first name is Andrew, and you own a pair of the quasi-authorized, semi-official shoes of the Style Forum message boards, the RL Polo/C&J McCallums. I'll start: check.

Hmmm...my name isn't Andrew. But I own the shoe.

Sigh. Brainwashed, I guess.

To my credit, I held out for a while before buying the McCallum's. They are, in fact, a great shoe. They look nice, fit well and at $242 delivered, are not a bad price for cordovan.

We should do a McCallum poll - how many of us have the darned thing?

I knew this way would come, the truth must come out: I'm not really Jon, I'm Andrew. I hope you are all happy, now I must forever hide myself in shame. Goodbye forever.

Jon, er, I mean Andrew.

I have amazed by the number of "Marc#" on this and the AAAC forum. I know Marc 39 to be Marc Grayson, I think Marc 37 is ShooMan, and I am truly first named Marc and have long used the "237" because it is easy for me to remember - don't ask. I usually encounter Mark and not Marc in day to day existence.

Now Andrew. . . . Until I came to this forum and the AAAC I never met so many Andrew's, Andy's, etc. Amazing.

I would say that maybe there was a connection to the name and style, but today an Andrew co-worker came to work wearing plaid pants and a stripped shirt.
