Most of the time I am a very nice, if not-exactly-sociable person. But I cannot abide stupidity and on rare occassion let my displeasure be known and I can be a real asshole.
Some of my students said on student evaluations that I was an asshole. I assume those comments were from the moroms who either didn't want to do their work or weren't smart enough to add 2 and 2 without a calculator. That's what I thought then, and that's what I think now. Same with the yahoos I encounter these days.
