I'd say OP is worse. Only seen people wearing vibrams while actually running or at the gym.

Seen those vibrams worn casually around campus. I want to beat the wearers' head in with a metal chair every time.

every college campus, in every generation, has been chock-a-block with various items of clothing that merit a beating.

That was indeed one of my visual associations, too. Shoes pried off of the feet of a mummified corpse (plus a crazy rubber sole). For someone who sports the overall look of a bog body, these Clarks might be a fitting accessory.

they look like river-walking shoes...but with leather on them? if they were all rubber they basically would look like a toeless version of river walkers...pretty ugly
