You have huge thighs and a rather short stature. I'm not sure if you should be going for tight jeans like this.

Then again, it could just be the angle of the shot.

If you lack confidence wearing them or feel awkward by what other people think it will show. I think they look fine and don't define what "I " think is a typical skinny jean (April 77, Cheap Monday).

Are these jeans too tight? The waist doesn't feel tight, but they are obvious quite snug through the thigh and the calves. Do they just look ridiculous? And if so, what other options do I have?

Are those even steven dry blues? I usually wear 32 and have a pair of 31/34 even steven dry blue blacks that I bought a while ago and they stretched so much in the thighs that I can't wear them anymore.

I have 22" thighs.

are 22" thighs with a 31" waist actually considered large?

I would definitely say they're too large to fit into extremely skinny jeans, but really, is 22" that big?

guys, thanks for the positive replies. As for the guy who said I am of short stature, I am actually 5'11' 170 pounds. Not exactly minuscule

I'm going to take some higher resolution pics (still from my camera) and upload them in a minute.

The whole lack of a head thing makes people look shorter.

dude. they look fine. from the looks of the second pic you could actually size down and still have a good fit after stretching.

The fit looks fine, the only issue is how they feel for you in the thigh...
