I believe so. The rumpling, as opposed to creasing, of the uppers is a telltale sign.

+1 on the no. Look too at the lace-holes. They don't have that characteristic depression around the holes.

Decent shoes, but I don't think J & M even makes shell cordovan shoes in their Optima line.

You'll have a better chance for genuine shell cordovan on Ebay at approximately this price($39.99) with a "Vintage" shoe.
