Are these Chelsea boots resolable? Should I put a Topy on them?

I just bought these boots from Aquatalia (pics attached). Do they look resolable? If not, should I put a Topy on them? Seems weird to do rubber on rubber, but I really like these boots, so I'm trying to figure out how to make them last.

I'm not an expert but the soles look glued on from the second picture. I don't see any stitching there. It's really hard to tell in the other picture what's going on in the welt area.

Even glued soles can be resoled. They just can't be resoled as often and the uppers are often of a lower quality, which means you may not want to resole them. I would not put a Topy on those.

All, thanks for the input. I'll probably wear them as is.

Looks like a unit sole which means it's all one piece designed to look like several separate components attached together. Most likely it can be re-soled not the same way it was originally built and probably not worth the expense to have done.

This.

Your friendly local cobbler is not sitting around all day fawning over GYW footwear with channel stitching and beveled leather soles. He's eking out a living cutting keys, attaching topies to ladies heels and figuring out a way to stick some vibram onto a pair of clapped out Eccos. I'd wager that the majority rarely see welted footwear at all.

Maybe you are correct in the small towns and cities. Speaking for myself, that's ALL we see, high-grades GYW, Blake, Blake-rapid. All day long. No time for cutting keys.
