I don't know how you can conclude that about the materials and construction based on the pictures, but Koji Suzuki certainly is on my short list of bespoke makers I'd like to try. They are beautiful shoes.

He is without a doubt my favorite last maker, I think T4 is on his waiting list which last time I checked was about 2 years. If anyone has updated info let me know...lately I've been thinking about taking a trip to see him.

Wouldn't any list of bespoke cordwainers be pretty short?[IMG]

Are these Japanese shoes superior to Edward Green's and John Lobb's?

    http://www.oshitate.com/shop/koji%20...20products.htm

It seems like everything from the construction to materials is of better quality.

His bespoke shoe retails at NZD2500 - approx. USD 1525.00.

His suits & shirts & materials seems very reasonable and I might get in touch with him. His shoes are excellent and at that price - we'll be looking at superior quality shoes for sure.[IMG]

    No, not yet.

I've asked my friendly neighbourhood Japanese bookstore owner to email him for me!
