I don't know if this is posted in the right section, but do you know any free auction snipers? Has anyone used one?

    Thanks [IMG]

I searched for some, but they are free to try, etc.

What is the catch (if any) on jbidwatcher? You get to see ads? Should I trust them with my ebay codes? :S

    Thanks!

There is no catch. I've used it to win several items (non-clothing related). I use the Mac version, so I cannot help you with the Windows version, but I would imagine it works the same.

+1 on auctionstealer.com. I subscribe for $25 every six months and get unlimited sniping with bid grouping. But for free you get three free snipes every week. Have used the site (mostly for free) for six years.

I've used HammerSnipe with good luck. I don't do a lot of buying on eBay so their free services work for me. You get three free auctions/week. The only thing is that with the free version you can't specify how close to the auction end you want to snipe. They set it at about 10 seconds. With a paid account you can put it at whatever you like.

It kind of depends. With jBidwatcher your computer needs to be on. Not really a big deal if it's on anyway but the others are online services so it doesn't matter if it is or not.

I like Myibay, not free unless you know where to look. It will email/text you with alerts you define and allow you to change your mind/redefine price from any phone before the the auction ends. You can also set it and forget it.

It's software, so your computer handles everything... which is safer than giving out your info.

You're right, I didn't consider this at all.
