Those pinstripes look subtle enough. What type of office is this for?

I think bold and chalk stripes are passe, but those two you posted look nice.

Those look nice. I just bought a custom tailored suit with subtle pinstripes similar to what you posted here. I don't think they're out of style at all. And if they were, just wait 5-8 years and they'll be in again ;-)

I have always followed this

“you and I cannot be confined within the weak list of a country’s fashion. We are the makers of manners”

If you like it wear it

Is that a flaw in the left shoulder of the grey one? It looks like the material is pinched.

@maxalex that looks like Eddie Jordan.

In the USA, especially the south and west, I think the more important question is “are suits dead”? I don’t think anyone really cares about the formalities of pinstripes vs not or the “coolness” in 2018, outside of some of our more fashionable European members.

I don’t know where you are, so if I. Europe, they would be a better guide.

I’ll let my tailor in Rome do the talking.

That’s Andrea Luparelli, owner of Sartoria Ripense. He’s at the wheel of his Porsche and also reaching for a selfie, which may explain the shoulder. There is a low probability that his handmade suit doesn’t fit right.

Agreed. People dress like slobs since we moved just outside of the financial district in Toronto. Inevitably I'll be back there though so I'm thinking now is a good time to accumulate a few things.

Is that a flaw in the shoulder of the grey suit though (post #1) where the material pinches?

I just realized you thought I was asking about Luparelli's suit. No, in the first post of this thread there's a picture of the two pin striped suits, it was THAT suit (the grey one) I was asking about - looks like the material is pinched on the shoulder.
