I know this sounds weird but I just discovered Paul Stuart and admire some of their pieces. I usually don't go for some of their clothes but it is growing on me. The price, however, is less desirable. I noticed the sale page on the website. The prices are still high. Are they going to reduce the price any further? Is this the best they do for someone who does not live in NYC or Chicago? I would like to have some of their pieces in my wardrobe.

What is the fit like on PS dress shirts? I am very familiar with the fits of BB dress shirts and am wondering if anybody could qualify their response in terms of of BB fit (traditional, slim, or luxury)

Thanks!

PS, like BB, has different fits- it might be regular or slim.

Standard PS shirts have a trad fit.

Phineas Cole is much slimmer.

I just received this scarf from their sale site. http://www.paulstuart.com/product_in...SUBPRODCATID=0

It is very soft and the design is very nice. Unfortunately, I will be giving this as a gift. Is this a fair price for a scarf from paul stuart? I want one of their coats but will wait for a sale before jumping on one. I wish their sales were lower.

I have a similar piece, and paid a comparable amount for it. I am happy with the purchase.

Paul Stuart's never really going to be a great value. A quick browse of past threads on Paul Stuart will reveal that there is some consensus on this, though there's a faction of folks who nonetheless buy there and enjoy their offerings.

Does your scarf have the fabric tag that states 100% cashmere on it??? The scarf that I purchased does not. Is it suppose to have this tag or not? Or does it matter because it's Paul Stuart? Most of my other scarves have a fabric tag along with the name brand tag.
