my hope is that they're not...from what i can tell in pics..and their approx measurements on revolve, they don't seem to be...

can anyone tell me how they compare to say earnest sewn hutches? i have a pair of hutches which i bought a while ago, and while i like em, im so used to a straighter, slightly slimmer fit jean...do any olas fit this description?

Yep, that's pretty much the bootcut OLA. They might even be slimmer than the Hutch.

Mhmm, drizzit is right, its even less of a bootcut then the regular ralf. The bootcut is so slight that it is essentially a straightleg.

yep def more of a straightleg jean. if you're expecting a real bootcut you'd be disappointed with the Ola

Yeah, they have a very slight bootcut. I like it a lot. It's a very flattering cut I find. On me, they give my legs a nice, balanced look. They also seem to look good with pretty much any pair of sneakers and quite a few boots too.

so is there any noticeable difference between the fit of the straight svens and olas? besides the ola having a lower rise?

yeh, bloody hell, the ola's taper at the knees, the straight sven fit is true straightleg.. no tapering whatsoever.
