Long time lurker, first time poster. I recently started getting into serious shoes. Welcome my first serious Oxfords. Are they too tight? Asking because there is a 'V' shape on the lacing. They feel snug. There is a little heel slippage, but not much.

Thank you!

If that's how they fit out of the box, that's pretty good and the V should close a bit as they break in. As long as the shoes are comfortable and don't feel too tight on your instep, I'd call them a good fit. I think I only have 1 or 2 pairs of oxfords where the facings actually meet.

Thank you. My socks get stuck in the shoes from there not being enough room between my feet and the shoe. Is that a sign of the shoes being too small?
