I think they're all fine IMO. How conservative are they at your company?

That green one on the left is particularly nice. The one in the middle might be a bit too gimmicky. For the one on the right, the spacing between the prints is too big.

Is the green one a vintage Wimbledon tie?

I liked the one with the gamebirds. The one with the monetary symbols struck me as a little corny if you're in the field of finance. The one with the tennis rackets is okay, I suppose, if you're very into tennis.

I think "club ties" of this sort rate rather low on the "formality continuum," but few men who are not Internet Gentlemen will be cognizant of this.

Just my $.02, which is all my opinion is worth.

It's different on this side of the pond, a crested club tie would be the ne plus ultra of formality.

i like the ties excluding the middle piece. a tie displaying currency sybols i a bit corny... the fact that you work in finance makes the choice more rediculous!

If you worked in a fertility clinic, would you wear a tie with spermatozoa on it? [IMG]

If you are Goldman, Citi, or any other big player......I'd say no especially if you are just starting. You need to show up conservative and by the end of the week understand what the understood dress code is.

If that currency tie is not appropriate for working in finance, when who the hell is supposed to wear it?
