Are cargo pockets out of style?

Not that I ever wear anything but jeans but I need to know if I can start making fun of people wearing pants with cargo pockets.

You've got my blessing, while you're at it can you make fun of people wearing animal tees? They're often the same anyway so you'll save some precious "demeaning comments" time.

I say no to the Nelson point w/ "Ha-Ha!", but snickering to yourself is perfectly acceptable.

It's not out of style if they're carrying enough gear on them to need the extra pockets. At that point, you can laugh at them not for their cargo pockets, but at the fact that they carry enough crap around with them to need cargo pockets. So, I guess, laugh away.

The only cargo pockets that bother me are the big fat ones that hang out, usually on pants from Abercrombie and American Eagle.

Yeah, as a dad of a young kid I consider cargo shorts - I don't have any cargo-pocket long trousers - an essential. It's my standard half-serious shower gift to friends who are expecting their first child.
As a dad you end up having to carry all sorts of stuff - often unexpectedly. Those pockets are essential. But hey, if anybody wants to laugh they have by blessing. I've certainly worn goofier **** than that to please my daughter . . .

I switched to slim fit chinos rather than cargo pants several years ago, so feel free to laugh away. I'd still like to find a nice pair of danang cargo pants, to bad it looks like they don't make dudes stuff anymore =\\

i have a pair of ysl cargo pants that i wear all the time. i think they look good (however, they have one cargo pocket it's not bulky, and its a casual pant)
i won't stop wearing them because they "aren't in style"
