are bootcut jeans out?

slight bootcuts are good, just like slight tapers. too far deviation from the straight leg is where it starts getting ugly.

Boot cut works well for muscular guys. Don't expect guys with big calves to wear tube leg or skinny jeans.

No, you must be sizing your 47's wrong if they don't give you hip flare. This cut is supposed to be anti-fit.

Are you the jeans fascist? I mean a lot of different cuts can work on various people depending on their overall style and how they pair them with other garments. I don't wear bootcuts myself but almost never did, still wouldn't say extremely skinny, oddly shaped or flaring jeans can't work.

I personally cant stand bootcuts. You should wear a straight leg if your calf are big.
