Perfect summation, IMO.

The myth of the "perfect find" seems to be a trait more suited to the fairer sex... Every time I hear some dude gushing about how he "just HAD to buy" this or or that, I think to myself "good god - get a hold of yourself, gentleman!".

That's not to say that one shouldn't have preferred brands and styles, but one shouldn't be so tied to them that it forces them to be less than sensible with their disposable income, and certainly never to bite into their non-disposable income.

The other great thing about buying from BB is the in-house tailor. I just had the folllowing done to a suit purchased during the sale: sleeves finished and shortened, back let out, waist taken in, v in the pants and hemmed with cuffs. The total was a whopping $61.

So true, BB has performed miracles on clothing to get a proper fit for me (thanks, Mario). Somehow I've managed to get all my alterations there for free, and I tend to have a lot done to jackets and pants.

They usually have great prices for alterations. The only thing that bugged me is one time I asked them how much it would be for functional button cuffs and they said it would be 12 dollars a button. Is this a typical price for this type of work? The cuffs weren't finished yet. I've never had it done, but it seemed pricey.

Do you pay $12 per button?
