Are BB 1818 suits sold in their outlet stores?

I bought this suit and just realized something. The seller claims this suit is a legitimate 1818 Fitz. Yet, the tag on the jacket reads 346. This detail is not mentioned anywhere else in the listing. I'm confused due to the tags on the lining of the jacket. Is this a legit 1818 Fitz sold in an outlet due to floor sales from the main stores or is it a 346 suit in a Fitz cut(which suck)?
I may have just been duped.

An 1818 Fitzgerald will say that on the tag. If it says "346" then it is a fused outlet suit.

I was talking to a salesman at BB few months ago when I bought some shoes and he said that if their suits do not sell overtime, they will just send it to one of the outlet stores nearby. I also have 1818 Fitz (mine is made in Italy by Lardini) and the one you bought looks pretty legit IMO.

Yes, but they don't remove the 1818 labels and sew in 346. Where was the suit manufactured?

From actually looking at all of the photos, all of the sewn in labels say 1818 on them (even the one on the sleeve you are supposed to remove), the only thing I see w/ 346 is the attached price or other tag attached w/ a plastic loop . Is that correct, OP? Or did you receive something different than what is shown in the photos?

If that is the case, I'm sure that was just the outlet attaching their "346" price tag after they got it from the factory or wherever. If all of the sewn in tags say 1818 and you got what is in the pics, then it certainly appears you got a BB 1818.

I have that same suit and it is definitely a Fitzgerald suit based on the labels. The hang tag says 346 because the original buyer bought it at an outlet store. The right inside jacket pocket should have a production label in it that gives you a model number of 27094026 or for black 37263026. Yours looks blue, though, based on the blue lining.

This is indeed what I received. This is what he told me:

"Good eye. It's a real Brooks Brothers Fitzgerald 1818 but because I bought it at a BB Outlet, they use those 346 tags when they have to hand-write something. I know you've never bought from me before but I would not have perfect feedback if I were trying to pull something like that on people. Most guys who buy Brooks Brothers from me know about the different quality levels offered by Brooks--they just want to get the best for the least.
Also, this is why I take pictures of the labels. If it were a 346 it would be labeled like that on the inside. And I agree, anything 346 is garbage and shouldn't have the Brooks Brothers name on it."

Is the defect a significant issue? I did not think anyone would notice it. If it is a big thing, can I do something about it?

If the label inside the jacket says 1818 Fitzgerald, then that is what it is. If it says 346, then this is what it is. I'm not sure what you're asking at this point.

Yep - it's an 1818. The 346 tag is just the price tag added at the outlet. And as pointed out above, you can see the mark through the inside tag (especially on the close-up of the pants tag) which prevents someone from buying it at an outlet and then returning it to a regular store for full price.

And yes, even though most of the stuff at BB Outlets is the 346 brand made just for those locations, they do ship some stuff that hasn't sold from the regular stores as well. However, the quality and amount of the merchandise they get from the regular stores varies greatly depending on the location of the outlet.

Sorry y'all, I was asking about the "fabric defect" is it a big deal?

I visited the Philadelphia BB Outlet on Tuesday. Only 365 in the store. The SA said they never get 1818 there. Bummer!

They don't even sell shoes there.
