If we are going to use the coffee example it’s more like their supplier filled some bags up with decaf and labeled them as caffeinated and shipped them off. None of their customers noticed they got decaf and enjoyed their bags of coffee but the company is going to give them a partial refund anyways.

The fact that it’s a cash refund if you want to keep them and not store credit or a discount code actually seems more generous than I would have expected but that’s just me.

To be clear, they let ever single customer know what happened as soon as they found out.
This includes people who didn't even buy shoes from them and probably would never have known .
They then offered a full refund

That much is very clear, and complete besides the point I'm making, which is: likening the situation to misshapen whipped cream is comically understating what actually happened here.

Sorry bout that, doing my best to maintain the absurdity of the the whole thread.

Glad to see you are doing likewise.

Thanks guys. I had spoken with the principal at Archibald recently, and advocated a very similar course of action. Their final offer is even greater than I had suggested, and seems to me both fair and honest. It shows a commitment to the customers and their reputation.

I'm going to ask that customers please correspond with Archibald of London directly, either using our private conversation system, or via email, whichever is easier for you.

Cheers,

Fok.

Yes lots of trolls in this thread. As you know almost all of the posts are by people who aren't even customers.

And you're not being constructive. You are deliberately slamming the company to get a little extra for yourself.

You want to keep the shoes (which you obviously like) and get a full refund.
Without us trolls, you would still be in the dark about the origins of your hand cemented, bog standard factory shoes, and waxing poetic about the offerings from an obscure, artisanal workshop dedicated to excellence

If AoL refunds for toe taps, I should be refunded the time I've spent trying to make sense of Verrihappy's God awful writing.

Way more shills here than trolls. LOL.

Money talks. All the AOL lies, chicanery, fraudulent practices and scams are forgiven and forgotten.
