Aquascutum OTR suits

Hey guys,

Does anyone know the quality of these suits and how they fit? I am interested in learning more.

Do these suits run large? Or have you guys found them true to size. I usually wear a 38R in suits but I have a Brooks Brothers suit that is a 36 R and it fits me perfectly. As of the moment, I am not in New York so I cannot look around. Also, I won't be able to go to England anytime soon

I am mostly interested in the sizing and quality. If anyone can let me know then I'd appreciate it very much. Thanks!

Most SFers don't like their stuff but I do, if you can get it on sale its a good deal. Ebay usually has a lot. I would say sizing is comparable to Brooks; I am a 36R in most of their stuff but have some 38 too. Try looking for some of their made in England stuff, which is harder and harder to find. Most of their suits are now made in Portugal (fused.)

Made in England ones are rather good, almost Chester Barrie level.

Not sure about the USA-made ones.

I have a sports jacket from them. It's a 38R. I have a chest which measures 39.5 but 38R stuff almost always is a better fit for me than 40R. The Acquascutum jacket is a bit tight. So I'd say it runs a little bit smaller than my other jackets / suits (Ede & Ravenscroft, Swaine Adeney etc.)
