I am surprised no one has said how cheap the leather looks. Is this a cheap pair of $50 shoes? (Is my eye improving?)

Is that a very cheap pair of shoes?

I apologize.....if you meant the first pair of shoes..........I believe they were around the $200 range.

Your new shoes are really nice in their own right. Without pic on the brown suit it is hard to comment on the matching problem. Scatologically, I wouldn't worry too much.

Did you wear them yet?

I would not otherwise suggest you return them, except that you said you don't like captoes.

I'll be criticized for the following........I really don't care for AE dress shoes.......
I usually wear A. Testoni dress shoes.....they're very comfortable and excellent quality.......but sometimes I get the urge to utilize something different......

I try not following the "parade of society".....though often I've been found guilty...

Are those Testonis in the original post? If not, why didn't you just get some brown Testonis which fit your fancy to start off?

excellent post #27, ah, I see.

so you felt like getting something different, I presume because you preferred to, and now you are stuck with some captoes, which you didn't prefer.
