I don't go on forums these days, but I wanted to shoutout @LA Guy, Apolis, and Context for designing a great denim shacket. I truly enjoyed wearing this, received many compliments on the piece, and it is the best $80 I ever spent.

The reinforced armpits and elbow held up. However, I did need to use a sowing machine to reinforce the arm stacks a bit and one of the denim pieces for the collar ripped when I gave it a wash last time. The waxed cotton came off after the first go-round in the washing machine.

It still gets worn occasionally for concerts during a normal year.

I saved images of the jacket before I washed it the first time. This was taken in 2013.

Honestly, the jacket didn't show much visible wear, aside from some vertical white lines and arm stacking, until I washed it the first and especially the second time. The indigo started to come out more after second wash.

Does anyone know what happened to Context Clothing? Their IG has gone dead with no real announcements or anything.

I was wondering the same thing. Looks like from the comments they've stopped fulfilling orders as well. Bummer. Used to be one of my favorite online stores. The early days of Context were great. Always wanted to head up to Madison and see the place in person.

I thought they were still around...although I haven't been by there for at least a year or so.

The Context owners, Ryan Huber and Sam Parker, looks to be pretty involved in their new restaurant around the corner, the Settle Down Tavern.
