I recently purchased a pair of size 28 STANDARD jeans from APC (with an approximately half inch higher rise than the New Standards), and they are super TIGHT. I can button them all the way up, but only when worn up at my actual waist, and it's nearly painful.
I'm going to sell them, in order to facilitate my purchase of some New Standards instead. Now, is there any difference between listed and actual waist size when comparing the standard to the new standard? Or do they both have the same listed/actual size ratio?
I ask because jeans with a lower rise generally have a bigger actual waist size...
Help me out here guys, need to figure out what size is right for me :/
