LAG- Are you wearing this stuff tight or fairly relaxed? I do not like tight-fitting, restrictive clothing (also I have fairly broad shoulders--18.25-.50"). For point of reference, I just received some Standard American s/s tee's in M, and the fit around my upper chest, shoulders and neck is almost too snug for my taste. Edit: I would ask the same question of the Wrangler corduroy shirt: is the S cut full enough in the shoulders for me? Sorry for the badgering, but you did mention something about kinder & gentler... Â
I like my stuff fitted, but not tight, and I'm pretty slim through the shoulders and chest. Â Given what you said about the Standard American tees, which fit me perfectly in an M, I would would go with the APC 2 and the Wrangler medium. Â The Wrangler sportjacket in a medium fits me pretty well in the shoulders, and is a little relaxed through the torso (deliberate design, btw) and the corduroy shirts fit similarly. Â Definitely go with the medium if you don't like your stuff to fit tight. Â Don't worry about length. Â The Wrangler 47 stuff is generally fairly short
shit--the corduroy M is sold out. How does the dark denim western shirt look? Impossible to tell from the pix, though the faded denim looks nice, both in western & "dress" shirt. Oh, and do you know how the BBW shirts fit? Same as Wrangler 47? I kinda like that suicide hare number. thanx

" Just don't do the denim tuxedo thing unless you are a real cowboy."

What's that, denim top & bottom? Kind of a bummer? What about light denim w/ dark denim? School me, Obie Wan Streetwear.

PS: def. not a cowboy, though I did go through a phase in college when I sported amber reptile cowboy boots, a stetson hat and a red & black plaid hunting jacket. Not sure why, but it was a long time ago...

Wrangler 47 jeans cut:

People with wrangler47 experience, I was looking at the classic jean, and they're out of my size in a 32 length.

Dya think it'd be possible to get the 34 and get it hemmed, or would that throw off the cut (like paper denims, I could get em hemmed but the back-of-knee crease would be at my calf). I'm torn.

While we're on the subject of APC, anyone want to give me their thoughts on this number I'm looking at? Am I crazy for thinking of buying purple jeans? And if anyone has experience, I'm also curious about APC jean sizing (I know it was mentioned before in this thread but I'll be more specific for my case). I was going to ignore this pair at first since I take 32 in Evisu, PDC, and the pair of Diesel Kratts I have. However, after unfortunate failures to squeeze in the size 32 Levi's Hesher and Rogan pairs I bought recently, I'm thinking of giving a 33 a shot.

It depends on how you plan to wear them, and what cut youre getting. The Anglaise (English) cut jeans are much looser through the leg than the unisex jeans. The waistband will stretch a bit because it's unwashed denim, so order your normal size or a size down if you do not plan to wash them. If you do plan to wash them often, they will shrink down to be exactly true to size, if not the slightest bit big. I ordered the most proper size for me (30), and the fit is perfect all throughout.
