Just got mine today. I'm gonna go over the fit in case others are interested - they are for sale on the APC website under "women's jeans." They definitely are women's jeans, but this fact has never bothered me before. The fit is similar up top to Earnest Sewn jeans. The waist is low, but with not much of a dip. It has a low rise in the back as well, and the pockets are shorter than other jeans, which is no surprise considering they are (technically
) women's jeans. Compared to the New Standards, the fit is tighter in the seat and thighs and the rise is considerably lower, much to my liking. My New Standards size is 29, and my Hipster size is 28, and they fit equally comfortably on the waist. The fit up top could be best compared to Dior Homme. They do not actually have a bootcut, but because of how fitted they are in the thighs and the fact that the leg is completely straight, the extra fabric around the shins area give it the appearance of a slight flare. This is where they differ from the Dior Homme sillhouette, which tapers drastically down to the ankle. Also, they are like a 33-34" inseam, so I don't have to turn up the bottoms at all, and probably most other guys who want them wouldn't... They are selvage as expected, the same denim used in all the other APC unwashed jeans. All in all I would say they are *exactly* what I was looking for when I bought them. Any questions you can ask me I'd be happy to answer.
