I want the remotes covered. They are ugly.

We like that bowl, but it will not work with the Nebula or the Chair Ones.

I judge anyone who doesn't think those containers are gorgeous.

I really wanted to say you're crazy for wanting a box for your remote. However, a remote box actually would solve my two main remote-related problems. I will always know where the remote is, and the box keeps it hidden from my son, who prefers it to any other toy we buy him. I think you've inspired me.

You do cover your remove in saran wrap right? There is a strong correlation between people who require guests to doff their shoes and those who wrap remotes. You guys also wrap your car seats in old t shirts (typically with hello kitty characters) and have neck pillows affixed to headrests. I love the idea of a saran wrapped remote control in a shagreen box.

Birds will drop snails & turtles from high in order to crack their shells but you think a little box will stop your child? Bwahahahahahaahaha

I read this thread at 1pm, come back, and there are almost 150 new posts... dear god. On a more serious note, with regards to the remote controls. I bought a Logitech Harmony 900 (the one with the RF capability so i can hide everything) it is very pretty and replaced 6 other remotes easily. Cuts down on clutter and looks sleek enough I don't mind it being out

    • Remotes are dreadful objects.
    • Why do people store the remote next to the device it controls instead of next to where they sit?
    • A universal remote would be great, but I can't bring myself to buy one.
    • If you like the ceramic containers, you should get one. I don't think any harm will come to either the remotes or the container.

and iPhone. Not sure about with cable though - Time Warner is roughly 15 years behind with technology.

our DVD and Roku box though can use iPhone (still i like the rubber buttons when scrolling. with the phone, you have to be careful about aim since you can't feel it under your fingers)

I like the idea of a box for remotes, can be stored closer to the sofa without having to look at them.
