I have a wall hung cabinet I made in rosewood under one TV that I store remotes in. TV is also wall hung. I've managed to eliminate most of the crap associated with the TV and hide the apple TV unit.

All wires are behind the TV and the electrical outlet is one that doubles as a surge protector.

I have a larger TV in my study with surround sound, dvd, games and all of that crap. I've also managed to hide literally everything associated with that as well, which was a feat.

Thousands? Really? You should count them and if you've been shortchanged demand at least a partial refund.

I counted 2,000 exactly. So they are in the clear.

I bet the last few hand-hammered nailheads aren't even functional. They are just there to protect against liability.

Are all mirrored flatscreens horrifying or just the ConTrad one I picked to display?

I've seen everything from frameless to wood to gold gilt.

The best mirrored flatscreens are the ones that use a camera and then flip the image so it isn't reversed in the mirror.

Large TV's are one of those things that make some people feel like they are in heaven and others like it is the greatest desecration you can do to a home. heismatt strikes me as a both a non TV viewer and someone who does not hang large items on his walls (I mistakenly wrote "balls" at first, but that may also apply)

The only type I accept. If the answer is "yes" it will mean all large wall mirrors used around mantels, focus walls, etc. are horrible, correct? I can also accept that. No answer will impact my eventual decision of either obtaining one or where I place it.

The components and wires are best hidden, but I'm ok with seeing the TV. You know, as long as it is not in the living room.
