my foyer is bigger than all your apartments. it even has two (2) closets.
I live in a house, Manton. A small one, but still a house, dammit.
I was being a jackhole but the floorplan does help - not an uncommon situation in SF. Do you have an outside gate or is the entryway wide open? Seems to me the best place would be to have some sort of shoe vessel in the entry way and there looks to be room for it on the left hand side where presumably you have a potted plant. Otherwise, seems like you have to move the bookshelves or modify them to fit baskets for shoes on the bottom shelves (guessing they aren't deep enough for that even if it was possible and you wanted to).
This nonsense is exactly why I don't have friends . Sooner or later they expect you to visit their homes then you gotta take off your shoes and on and on and on..........
Your foyer is a palace inside a palace.
What you shall wear if you are so lucky as to enter my abode:
Do you wash them between uses? Or just give out disposable socks with them? Or is it "who cares, there just for the guests?"
Are they Goodyear welted?
The pattern matching is abysmal.
that is awesome, when will I get my invite?
As soon as we have places for you to sit that aren't cardboard boxes.
By the way, we don't personally care if you walk around barefoot. We do ourselves. The slippers are only to gently coax people to take off their shoes and also if they prefer themselves not to be barefoot. Although, since we do not wear shoes indoors, our floors are a pleasure to feel under your toes. It would be a shame to pass up the opportunity, to be honest.
How do you feel about vibram five finger shoes?
this is going to be a great party, I have very interesting toes.
