I am in love with the gun club check that Andrew Rogers has for sale. I can not afford bespoke. Is there anyway to have this made into a rtw jacket?

What on earth does "have this made into RTW" mean?

Basically, is there a way I can send this to a company. They cut it into the same pattern for my desired size and send it back to me. I've never heard of this being done, so I doubt it's possible.

I'm (seriously) thinking about having the exact same fabric made into a sport coat by TaT. IMO, it would be

Only problem (for you) is that Jason requires you to have a suit (& measurements) before he takes outside material.

I think you should do it. That fabric is awesome. How much is a TaT jacket?

Excuse the ignorant among us - but who is TaT?

Thick as Thieves. But most RTW brands fit me well and that would make it even cheaper.

I was thinking about it too, but I wish the fabric wasn't as heavy. I simply have little to no use for anything above 12 or 13 ounces.

That's one of my hesitations, too. I don't want to spend that much for something I can't wear too often...especially in LA.

But then again....it would look SO AWESOME.

Decision....

Use a MTM program that has a cut and style you like and just ask for a 40R or whatever size you are. You probably have a fitting issue or two that could be improved along the way. Almost everyone has a low shoulder that could easily be adjusted for. Look for a maker in your price range. It is much more expensive for a RTW factory to cut one suit for you and run it through their production line. You need a CTM factory that is set up for MTM.

Ok, joking. But if Vox endorses his discount over to you...it *just* might be possible...

Indeed! Alsport is rock solid, can take a beating and looks and wears very well.

This is exactly what Thick as Thieves do I believe. They just have a very particular type of style and market. Their stuff can look great.
