So I bought this used Hilfiger suit over here, needed a gray beater suit...and it was described as slim fit.
It arrived, but didn't feel that slim to be honest. Marked as a 38R, it was WAY bigger than other slim/modern cut suits.

Had my mom go over it, and it turned out like this(L before, R after):

It feels great. But I'm wondering about the waist on the jacket...take it in a bit more, or would that look cartoonish?

It looks pretty good... flows well, I wouldn't make it slimmer.

Yeah, probably as cheap as it gets. Suit actually seems to be higher quality than a lot of the Hugo Boss suits(they had much better cuts tho) I've tried. Won't complain for the 100-something bucks I paid for it.

I wont necessarily say that.. both have horribly done shoulder pads.. I find the HB's with the pick stitching are much more slimmer than their other brands with higher armholes and lowering button points which TH does not have.. plus some of the hb's models carry horn buttons on some of their models and bemberg linings which TH does not have.. however I would not buy a HB for full retail.. prob around 350 or so and a TH not over 200.. that looks decent though except for the wide shoulder pads..
