Wow. there are some pretty nice prices on Hickey stuff on Amazon. Thanks.

I don't have measures for you. But I have emailed them directly and they are happy to provide them.

hmmm.. I did email them - no reply. Damn, I might have made a mistake by posting that the link. The suit I want might be gone by tomorrow.

The stuff is short and small.

Their R is an ordinary S. Their 40 is an ordinary 38.

Sorry don't have exact measurements.

Do you own a hickey style suit? How's the fabric? I know the hardcore will not like it because it's fused but for $300 - I don't care

That's a nice fit on you. What's the measurement for the chest - is it 22 inches ? I can wear 36s to 40s depending on the brand. A RLBL 38s fits me perfectly and there are only 40s for the Hickeys.

thanks for the info. Where did you score the Hickey for $258?

I don't think so because it's purchased from Hickey via Amazon. Hence, the return policy will be based on Hickey.

Damn I'm very curious on the measurement as well. I'm normally a 38s...

Hickey is fused right?

I don't have exact measurements, but as said, the jacket (and trouser rise) is short. I am usually a 37 or 38S and the regular 38 fits me really well. The jacket is almost a tad short.

On the contrary, I have an email from customer service at Hickey stating that "Seeing you are purchasing from Amazon, if you do not like it you are eligible for a full refund".

I plan on returning a suit today. I bought two. One was a bit snug in the pants (I guess I have a big butt) but my tailor was able to make them work. The other he said would not be successful, so it's going back. BTW, tailor said he was impressed with the quality of the fabric and the construction - jackets are half canvassed.

Unfortunately, I can't give measurements because one suit has been altered and the other is already taped up in its box. They certainly run a little snug. I'm normally a 38 or 39 but needed the 40, which fits nicely. The pants have a 7" drop, which means a 33" waist. However, as I mentioned, they run VERY slim in the leg. For the price and the quality, I'd say well worth a try. I'm very happy with the one I kept.

To give you a sense of sizing, I post here some the measurements for a 42 L hickey coat I sold on ebay last year:

<<Measurements, in inches: top to bottom in back including collar 32, shoulder 18.5, arm 26.75, chest 43.5, coat waist 41.5. Three button front. Four buttons each sleeve. Single rear vent. All cotton. Fully lined. Size on label 42 L but this coat is cut slim and short, so may fit 42, 41 or 40 R as well. Made in USA. Excellent condition, new with tag.>>
