It's casual Friday, so I'm wearing this shirt with some khaki-ish patterned dress pants.

White shirt with a bright green exploded gingham check, washed black jeans, off-white Adidas Gerd Mullers with bright green stripes and laces.

It's now the 18th, and never before has the term 'beer-soaked' been more appropriate to describe what I have on.

I've got on a dark green shirt, black with gold vine pattern tie, green and brown tweed sportcoat with a pale gold pocket square, gray wool trousers, brown shoes. I don't think I would wear a bright green tie, however. Oh, and I am at least in part Irish, in spite of the name. My paternal grandmother was Irish.

Standard friday, with a touch more green--

green ringer tshirt under a green am apparel leisure shirt
brown hooded sweathshirt
apc anglaise (washed first time last night)
brown converse varvatos WCTIIs with green details

A little matchy, but hey, it's St. Patrick's Day. Wait, I think I can post on ST today!

Dark green Brooks v-neck over a Zegna stripey with some green in it.
America via County Mayo.

SONG FOR IRELAND

Walking all the day
Near tall towers where falcons build their nests
Silver-winged they fly
They know the call of freedom in their breasts
...
Living on your western shore
Saw summer sunsets, asked for more
I stood by your Atlantic Sea
And sang a song for Ireland
...
Dreaming in the night
I saw a land where no one had to fight
Waking in your dawn
I saw you crying in the morning light

Sleeping where the falcons fly
They twist and turn all in your air-blue sky
...
Living on your western shore
Saw summer sunsets, asked for more
I stood by your Atlantic Sea
And sang a song for Ireland

(as performed by Mary Black)

A green flannel shirt. I hadn't even thought about it--totally forgot about St. Pat's.

No green as I loathe St. Pat's day. America via County Galway, if you must.

Oxxford Crown Cashmere odd jacket - dark grey with subtle green overcheck
Sulka shirt - pale green (almost white)
Sulka tie - two shades of green, Celtic Knot design
Nothing else with the color of the day.

Well, being with a full-blown Irish fiancee I got my a$$ kicked this morning for not wishing her a Happy Paddie's Day ...

Still, I keep it like Andrew ... does Edward Green count?

On St. Patrick's Day it's not easy to be with somebody who speaks fluent Gaelic and who has corrupted my life philosophy with the so Irish 'live and let live' and 'everything will turn out fine' attitude.

Oh, did I forget to say that I truly love her?

My heart's all green today ... is that good enough?

My wife is of 100% Irish decendency (first generation here in the U.S.), and she is the chairperson of the local St. Patrick's Day Parade (held last Saturday), so green was de riguer for me today. I am wearing a forest green BB shetland sweater.
