Anyone Used Vectra Spray On Your Shoes?

I picked up a can of Vectra Spray (formula 16) from a shoe repair place. I asked the guy if he had a waterproof product for shoes that wouldn't damage the leather and he recommended this stuff. Said it was excellent for shoes and would cause no damage. Apparently, they're a small US based company. After doing some research, seems some women use it for their high end purses. Just curious if anyone is familiar with it before I try it. Their website is vectraspray.com if you want to check out what I'm referring to. Thanks in advance.

I recognize that there are differing opinions as to whether one should or shouldn't spray their shoes and this wasn't intended to be a should I or should I not debate. Just curious about this particular product. From what I've read, Vectra is gentler than silicon based products and it appears to be recommended by some women's high end purse retailers (and some of those purses can cost between $1,000 and $2,000, so it seems to be well regarded).

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
