Anyone use Wilshire Tailor in LA?

I just got back two suits from Paul at Wilshire Tailor, and from the job he did on these, I would absolutely suggest a visit. He is, for what I've seen, on the more expensive side, but what a job he did! I had two suits that were a bit big in the jacket, and he took them in, and did a shoulder lift on the right side, as well as shortening the arms from the shoulder, so as to keep the faux button holes in tact. The waist on the pants also was taken in, and they were shortened. Each of the two suits was $180, but this is also the most complex work I've had done. The only thing I might have done is have some kind of weighted material put in at the cuff, so that they don't flop around as much. They are on the short side because they are relatively narrow.

That store has a great reputation I understand. There have been several stories about the stars they have done.

For the cuff, you can use those heel guard strips.

Where is the Wilshire Tailor? Is he, as I might surmise, on Wilshire Boulevard? I get up that way with some frequency (lived a block and a half off Wilshire for almost 14 years), and that might be a good resource.

I'm not too keen on using a cleaners for alterations. In the area, I'd go to Jack Taylor.

I was actually thinking of Jack Taylor with respect to my first reply. He's the guy who has done all the older Hollywood execs and actors right?

Wilshire isn't also a cleaner, maybe we're thinking of two different ones? Where is Jack?
